First Match of the 2022/2023 Season for Wigan Athletic

We were delighted that Big Help Project Staff were invited to attend DW Stadium for the first game of the season to view the new strips, as Wigan Athletic took on Preston North End in the 2022/2023 Sky Bet EFL Championship. Big Help Project also got to watch, as the Midfielder Tom Naylor made his 500th career appearance at the DW Stadium that afternoon. It was a momentous occasion all around.

Big Help Project understands that football helps to forge a strong sense of community and that's what we are all about, creating strong bonds in communities to help them thrive. We look forward to many more occasions working with both Wigan Athletic and EPIC Gl, and soon Big Help Project will provide a package of exciting community initiatives that will be unveiled and will specifically target those in Wigan who are socially isolated, in need of assistance with their financial inclusion, or who lack access to healthy, affordable food.
